Man, I don't know. I almost want to beleive it has to be the table is in the DE of the form (I think Erik suggested that earlier).
Try opening the form in the form designer and running the following at the command line:
ASELOBJ(oDE, 2) && Grab an object reference to the DE
and look at it in the debugger and see what cursors are in the DE. I had a view get hidden in there once, it was way off to the right and down at the bottom.
