What my talents are/are not is not germane. Yes, I have had late nights trying to get something to work. And yes, often has been the case where I missed some obvious point or the like that would have made my job easier. Other times, the problems arises from the fact that the software does not work as advertised..
All that said, having choice does not mean that the quality has to be bad or that inter-operability does not exist. i.e. - there is no cause/effect relationship..
