The forum at www.realrates.com has leveled harsh criticism at DICE, saying that there are a lot of shady characters there who don't have real jobs to offer and are just collecting resumes and pumping references for sales leads. I don't know, myself. A lot of the advice there is from the point of view of the most established consultants who have no trouble finding something. Those people seem most concerned with not wasting their own time, not allowing their references to be hassled, and avoiding troublemakers.

I don't recall what forums they said were better. www.realrates.com has a lot of traffic and is good for voyeuristic reading of horror stories about clients and brokers. There is a fair amount of rude behavior and xenophobic hostility to H1B visa holders. There is probably also a lot of good advice. Using one's real email can generate spam.
