I think I understand the client and (web)server approach, the difference here is that the data must be on the client as well. I know what you're going to say - chuck the server side on the client. Maybe?

Thanks for you patience, it must all be so blatantly obvious to yourself, but its all new to me. I have never been involved in web development of any sort before. Maybe in a few days, weeks, months .... years I will begin to see the picture :-)

Maybe, I could get the company to cough up some cash for me to pay you a visit - for consultancy of course. Nothing to do with Hawaii or nothing :-)
