You're right...in VFP if you add a new record to a view, then try to Requery that view, you'll get an error...
The Framework doesn't automatically issue a requery in this scenario. Do you have code in your Edit form that is requerying the business object on the calling form? Is it possible you're explicitly requerying the view?
