SKIP FOR display problem

Hello all!

I'm using VFP5, and I have several menu items (Add, Edit, Delete, etc.) in my menu. The SKIP FOR clause of those are something like:
!oTopLvl.gToolBar.cmdAdd.Enabled

My problem is that, visually, the SKIP FOR isn't respected. What I mean is that those menu pads are not enabled/disabled when they should. But the problem is only visual since, for example, if the Add pad should be disabled and I select the menu option, the code associated with the pad won't run. Next time I open the menu, it "refreshed" and is now disabled.

The reverse also works, except that I can't select the pad through the menu since it's disabled, but if I assign a keyboard shortcut to it and use that shortcut, the code runs and my pad is now "refreshed".

Now, I've tried this with VFP6 and it works fine, so I guess it's a VFP5 bug, but are there known workarounds?

The following KB article:
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q114/2/74.asp
talks about Fox and VFox for Mac, but doesn't seem to apply to WinFox.

Thanks!
