I found in the MM Users Guide for the ClsitObjEdit, that I had failed to set the OnBizObjEmply, PostRequeyHook, and the postinithook (this.changeBizObj()). These settings along with the lUIEnablerNewRecord allow me to acitvate the child page, add and delete records.

The new problems are:
1) when I go back to page 1 and then back to my child page, or when I enter the form fresh, there is no populated grid display of the child records
2) I can't close the form (acts dead). When I performed the postinithook (this.changeBizObj()) in the child object, does this replace to access to the page1 business object?. Do I have to call the RestoreBizObj in the deactivate of the child page? I was hopeing to see examples of these form combinations in the progmgr6 example but haven't found them so far. I'm trying to establish a shop standard for the correct way to do things, as opposed to trial and error that might work, but is not the best way.

What do you suggest. I do not have any other methods or properties set that I haven't mentioned ( I started over again the form/pages and re-dropped the business objects).

Also, I don't know when I'm supposed to set a value to RecordSource in the grid objects or not to. It seems to work either way. What is the rule of thumb to setting RecordSource in a grid?
