Try using oWord.AppMaximize instead of oWord.AppShow
Here are a few others I can remember:
.AppMaximize
.AppMinimize
.AppShow
.AppHide
>I am using the following.
>oWord=creaTEOBJECT("word.basic") &&&open up word
>oWord.FileOpen('C:\temp\myfile.doc') &&&&open saved document
>
>oWord.AppShow &&&show the document
