We routinely use the wwXML objects to ship tables between apps. It works well and only requires a line of code to create. Actually with a single object parameter you can also include a table header in the XML, in which case the recipient can recreate a table or cursor in its entirety. You can also create an ADO XML string by choosing a different method.
My recommendation: Rick has done all the hard work for you. Use it.

"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
