>Okay just checked out the webpage on the new version of Visual Foxpro
>is it true they are putting it into the Visual Interdev/Visual J++ programming interface ?
What I understand is that MS solidifies the role of VFP as middle tier in an applications built with Visual Studio.
>For all VFP programmers that bought visual studio. I just want to say that the object browser Microsoft is selling in their new features in VFP article is currently available in Visual Interdev and Visual J++. Just select view -> other windows -> object browser.
They're talking of the availability of Object Browser inside VFP not outside.
>Again it is clearly to me that they are putting way more effort in Visual Basic then in Visual Foxpro. Visual Basic gets inheritance and polymorfism, Visual Foxpro is put into the Visual Interdev/J++ programming interface.
Are you whining again at this early stage? You have to understand that VFP is being marketed as a tool to build data-intensive components. MS is putting a lot of effort to enable VFP to be significantly important in VS family but as much as possible it does not overlap with VB and other tool's marketability features.
