Now I understand the confusion.
Think of it this way. Once the project is in VSS, that is the central repository of your project files. When the other 2 developers want to start working on the project for the first time, they would choose File / Join Source Control Project... in VFP and select $\PROJECT1 from the choices
After that, all 3 of you will have your own local versions of the project with the central repository being in VSS.
In VSS Administrator under Tools / Options... ensure Allow Multiple Checkouts is checked.
PS Actually, I like the SW. I stayed in a caravan park close to Looe as my homebase for a few days and drove around from there. It's just time constraints this time as I'll only be there 2 weeks and after visiting relatives I want to visit London and Dieppe before coming home.
>Well, this project is going to be shared between 2 other developers, so W:\CMS600 is where I want the Source files kept, and then everyone else can download them into their own WD on their PC. Does that make more sense?
