I am in the same position - a VFP programmer doing VB. VB is not a data centric language and provides many challenges. I like using Visual MaxFrame Professional, etc. and have worked with xBase since 1982. Creating VB data applications will take longer than if you were to do it in VFP, but if the customer says VB, then give them their monies worth.
