I guess I did not descripe the problem properly. The text file is not a SDF file or the sort. It it litterally a text report that one would read as if it were sent to you and you printed it out or from a report genarator. This is why i am having problems. The data may start at position 5 and go through position 10. The next starts at position 12 and go through position 16 etc.
