Very true. Clearly I should have included C++ and C in my original note
(an oversight). I have heard that Java is not as difficult to learn and
use as C++.

Perl code seems extremely cryptic from what I have seen. You can do a
lot in one line of code, but can you understand it without a reference
manual nearby? Sounds like a maintenance nightmare in the making...

I have used JavaScript for client side scripting on ASP pages.

Never used KShell and have not heard of PHP. Although I have seen some
web pages with PHP extensions. What does PHP stand for?
