Depends how many files in your project. Recompile all does what it says - recompiles EVERYTHING in your project. If there are lots of large files, it could take some time. Although five minutes does seem like a long time.

How many files in your project and how big are they?

>I have vfp 6.0 SP3 project: cca 1.5MB takes prg and vcx files, WinNT4.0 SP6. Compilation of project (app or exe) takes about 5 mins with 'Recompile all files' option. It took to 20 secs without this option.
>Compilation have token 5 mins from certain time without 'Recompile all files' option. I change one line of code and compilation takes 5 mins! Why? What happen with my project?
