I have created a SETUP.EXE using VFP6's setup wizard. I passed this onto a client who attempted to install it. He gets an error, something about not being able to update the ODBC drivers.

My first thought was that I should include some ODBC that wasn't checked during the setup. I checked ODBC Drivers… (in the setup wizard) and got a message saying that I would be better served distributing MDAC_TYP.EXE with the setup.

Several questions. Do I need to send MDAC_TYP.EXE in with the setup? If so, do I need to do something to get them to install? I have not encountered this ODBC error in previous setup.exe's that I have created, is this something specific to this client and the setup should work anywhere else?
