Re: VFP5 EXE Problem
Hi Barbara,
I installed an EXE on a network this way. It was created on my station and installed (files transfered over the network) on another (host) which does not have VFP5 on it. The EXE is accessed by three other stations including mine. The directory structure on the host is for example, HOME - for the EXE and supporting files and HOME/DATA for data. CONFIG.FPW which is included in the EXE contains DEFAULT=D:\HOME\DATA. I had no problem running the EXE at the host from my station. But for the EXE to work on its host and the other stations which do not have VFP5 installed, I had to install the following files in the host's HOME directory:
FOXFONT.852
FOXFONT.850
FOXFONT.866
FOXFONT.FON
FOXPRO.INT
FOXUSER.FPT
FOXUSER.DBF
FOXTOOLS.FLL
FOXPRINT.TTF
FOXPRINT.FOT
FOXTLIB.OCX
VFPOLE50.DLL
VFP5ENU.DLL
VFPODBC.DLL
Regards,
Lawrence
