VFP5 is not a "win97" certefied development environment
(and remember that it was release before the other 5.0 tools)
what this means is that it lacks an event for the mouse focus leaving the
object
as you probably notice you can emulate this to some extent by making all
your object mouse aware - so they will reset any other contol when in thier
Mousemove event
- I've implemnted the win97 style buttons this way and it works ok
however you would probably get better results with 3rd party ActiveX
control that are already out there - like the menu ocx available on the MS
site or
the ActiveBar from datadynamics (
http://www.datadynamics.com)
