I am creating a form with several labels that I intend to replace the caption for to show the status of processing. The very first one I try to address is a label under the baseform called lblStatus. I used this code on the Load method for the form:
Thisform.lblStatus.Caption = "Opening Files - Please stand by"
When the form executes, I get an error saying
Unknown member lblStatus. . .
What did I not do. Everything I read says my code ought to work.
