As for the > "workstation not started message" it probably refers to the service called > "Workstation." Check in your control panel, under services. The Workstation > service should start automatically at startup... You should check the > parameters to make sure it does so. If it won't start, you can check the > Event Viewer to see if any hardware failure are keeping it from starting > up. > > Hope that helps. > Hi guys, also when you open Windows NT diagnostic, under tab Services you can find which services are dependant at other. It's in Properties of service tab Dependancies.... hth Just BTW - I disabled this service and also Server service, and I-m pretty happy without 'em... Honestly I-m not really sure what edvantages could they offer, bc I didn't find anything about this / there's nothing about these things. Even Resource Kit is passing by untouching these topics.... >-( So, if you know any reason why it's worthy to run it, let me know... TIA Dezider
