This isn't as simple as it may appear... I'm aware of the "normal" programatic causes of this error and this is definately not one of them.

I only receive this error on one computer, a PII300 128MG Win98SE running VFP5 SP3, and only when running it uncompiled (do prg\main.prg). When its compiled on the same machine and run (.exe) the error does not occur. In addition, it does not occur on similar 98SE machines, nor on 95 box machines either compiled or not. The error occurs on the one machine running either locally or across the network.

I have no doubt that uninstalling fox or the OS and reloading them is going to work, but I want to know if anyone has a better solution than that. I would like to know specifically what is the culprit (registry setting, .dll, etc) instead of just knowing that a reinstall fixed it. Mostly because big clients won't due entire restalls when I think the OS/Program is in question and I'd like to find some techniques on how to better trace these errors.

Thanks for all the help
