Help!!

I have a form that contains a page frame. One one page
of the page frame there is a grid. This grid has four
columns. Columns 1 thru 3 are all bound to the same table
within a database. The fourth column, however is not bound
to anything. I need to do some searching to find the correct
value for this cell. When the value is found, I need to
plug it into the appropriate cell.

I have tried to do a ActivateCell(xx,4) where xx is the row
number prior to setting the value of the cell to the text
I need to appear in that cell. When I do this and run the
form, I see another value from the table in my fourth column
cells. However, when I click on the cell, it changes to the
value I would hope to see. Then when I move off of the cell
the value reverts to the dreaded first value.

Any help anyone could give me on filling this cell and
making it appear correctly would be greatly appreciated.
