To the best of my knowledge the Clipper drivers that read CDX files were written in Fox2.x days and never updated. I think you'll need to create the indexes with Fox2.x instead of VFP, or just use Clipper to create them. I THINK that I used Fox2.6 when I was last doing Clipper and CDX indexes.
