My software (written in VFP6) uses a compression tool to backup the system upon user request. I close all tables, and databases, and then zip them using the compression tool. I am having trouble zipping up the database files - the error message that I get states that the file is in use. I cannot copy the database file, I cannot zip the file, yet I did do the 'close database all' command.

Has anyone run into this situation. Am I just missing something? Any help would be appreciated!
