Just a very wild guess: thisform.activecontrol.deactivate No, that's too rude... and disables it until further.... maybe thisform.activecontrol.lostFocus ....but then, the next one would receive focus. Maybe you really need to have an invisible object to give it focus when you want, but can it receive it? Maybe you'd have to make it visible, just hide it (.top=-200?). Sorry it'd take me too much time to build up an example. Guess I'll just wait and see what comes out.
