There is gonna be a small adjustement on the mailing list this weekend.

I have found, during the last months, that compuserve members are having a devil of a time to use the mailing list. This is because compuserve is limiting the number of emails per mailbox to a low level. Due to the high trafic of the Universal Thread, a compuserve member using the mailing list is having the situation where after a few hours the mailbox is full resulting in a bounce email resulting in an auto remove from the mailing list.

There is no easy solution for that and this is creating a lot of process for nothing because of this weird restriction of Compuserve regarding the number of emails per mailbox.

Compuserve users using the mailing list will be removed from that feature this weekend.

There is also gonna be a validation when a member want to become a member of the mailing list if he is from Compuserve.

For those concerned, if you have an Internet account, you will then be able to use that account instead to receive your messages into. If that is the case, don't forget to adjust your email in your profile and to select the mailing list option again. Otherwise, the solution is to use the Web interface.
