David,
Yes - it was slanted - but what I'm discovering - and it's not news - is that this forum or other MS havens are just as slanted in the other direction. It is human nature for people to assume that their position is the "accurate one" and that all contrary postions are therefore "slanted".
For example - I can find just as many very experienced, intelligent, and skillled people to preach that JAVA is great and MS tools all suck as I can here or elswhere to support the opposite. Here I get "JAVA project failed miserably so we switched back to MS and VFP" - Other places I get "JAVA worked great, MS is old news and what the heck is VFP?"
The wise action is thus to look at all the "slanted" views - gathering as much info as possible - and realizing that the truth in these matters usually lies somewhere in between.
Whatever else can be said good/bad about MS or JAVA - JAVA is growing like crazy and definitely has the momentum now. IMHO - MS MUST address cross platform issues ASAP in their dev tools or they are gonna lose market share big time.

>Interesting article. It is clearly slanted in its presentation, with four quotations from Java-oriented people, and one that gives a slightly pro-MS quote. Of course the article was clearly written at the JavaOne conference.

>Bad reporting, IMO, but with some interesting observations about Java's spread in the enterprise.
