We currently use Seagate Crystal Reports to report on our visual foxpro 6 database, but this tool is too difficult for our users. We want to supplement Crystal with an ad hoc query tool that would allow users to create queries on the fly. We want them to be able to select a few fields, set some selection criteria such what to group on or sort by, and then get a recordset in return. The recordset does not have to be pretty since we just want the data in columns so we can export it to Excel or a similar program. Does anyone know of a tool that could fulfill this function? Thanks!
