What we do is by grouping them into categories where: A - Master File Module Forms, B - Transaction Module Forms, etc. We then add prefix to each forms i.e. A01_frmCustomer, A02_frmsupplier, B01_frmInvoice, B02_frmPurchase, etc.
That approach is effective to us since we have a framework that provides reports of all modules which have information regarding the status of the module, assigned programmer, start and target date, description of the module, and the external name of the form.
The prefix that we use has something to do with the access code which each user must be defined in their user profile otherwise access will be denied. I will not go further on that coz it will already be out of the topic.
