I "Just" upgraded from VFP5.0a to 6.0SP3 and I have an Employee form that retrieves its data from an SBS SQL-Server DB. Apparently VFP6.0SP3 handles grids and views differently than 5.0 did. On loading of the form (employee) I now get the error

Error loading file-record number 57. Grid1 .ControlSource: Alias 'EMPINFOSQL' is not found

If I remove the ControlSource info from the grids columns, the form will than load without error. However the Data is in the wrong columns, or maybe I should say that all the columns in the view populate the grid from left to right, regardless of whether or not the were selected to be used in the grid.

Can somebody tell me what I am missing and how I can resolve this “feature” :)
