Some minor things to check:

Do you have SET EXCLUSIVE OFF in your main entry routine?

Do you have RESOURCE = in a CONFIG.FPW file in your app's directory? It should force the resource file (aka: foxuser.dbf or whatever you name it) to the user's local hard drive.

I'm sure others will contribute a LOT of other ideas...
