I got one of the original Epson Stylus printers. Great color for the time. The drivers left a bit to be desired.

I continually ran into problems with the print spooler. I don't recall all the details, but here are a couple possible directions:

The spooler buffer size can be played with. Try various settings.
Sometimes a failed print job would leave a large file and would need to be deleted before successful printing.
