We know that the problem occurs when the SELECT statement tries to execute, but if we're ever going to solve this, we've got to get some basic facts. Please post the following, without which I cannot help further:

1) The exact text shown in the two WAIT WINDOWs

2) The table structure that you're selecting from, as it appears when you do this:
