I've seen a post elsewhere that www.hotsend.com has a freeware printer driver and a viewer that wraps around the attachment to make a package you can attach to e-mail. Haven't tried it.

The very best way to convince bosses is with $$. How much would it cost to do a project this way vice that way. You could also include time estimates to, for example, develop vice buying something ready-made.
