If you create a file in one of the commonly-interpreted formats, such as Acrobat (PDF), Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) or HTML format, then tools are available to both view and print files. The most widely supported is the PDF file, which can be view using Adobe AcroBat. EPS files can be printed on PostScript printers, vir=ewed using the GNU GhostScript viewer, and there are some third party products which can convert EPS to output on other common laser/inkjet formats. HTML files can be viewed with a Web Browser and printed through them or MS Word 2000. If you create a file for printing on an HP laser or inkjet, you're not going to have good results.
