That doesn't really fit within UI standards whereby tab progresses between controls and enter is used to hit the default (OK) button. Yes, you can change this by switching off the default button. Take a look at M$ products, login screens, etc. they all have default buttons.
Theoretically, you should be able to get into a product with minimal keypresses - default buttons give you this. Users will give a lot of grief if you make them press enter lots of times when they could have pressed it once!
