Hello,

My problem is this. Often when I am modifying a form in Visual FoxPro 6.0 SP3 on one of my local drives I will get an error message when I try to save or modify a new method. Error Message: "Memo file d:\programs\someform.sct is missing or is invalid.". Has anyone else ever seen this? I am running on a Windows 2000 platform. After getting this message when I close the form and tell it to save the form it crashes foxpro because it is trying to access a memory pointer that no longer exists.

I have found that I can recover the form. Somebody(VFP or Windows2000) writes a file with a [randomname].tmp. If I rename this file back to someform.sct I can recover the form.

All suggestions are welcome.

Thank you,
Peter Edwards
