Hi Jon,

I use a parameter object for that. I have a oParam object based on a custom class with some common props I alot, and I've added a .oParam property to my base form class and code in it's init to store any passed oParam object to the prop.

Works really well. You can use addproperty to the oParam object before passing when you have special ones. I think Doug Hennig wrote about them in FoxTalk a couple months ago as well, he added a this_assign method to auto-add a prop if it wasn't already there.
