Daniel,
Thanks for responding. The tests are for individual patients, but I was wondering if you could elaborate just a little on the safety features of an SQL Server vs VFP database. I've done some study, but what specifically is done in one and not in another for safety's sake. Is there self-monitoring for corruption in SQL Server? And what would it do about it? Report or fix?
Thanks again,
>Are you testing people to check it there are HIV-positive or are you testing blood bags to check if there safe. If you are doing the latter, please use SQL Server (or another RDBMS) because SAFETY should be your number 1 priority (plus you might be liable)...
