Barbara:

No. No "Superman" act here. However, my wife IS "Superwoman" <s>. She does a lot more than I do. I mainly do sales, planning, setups, and obtaining capital for the businesses and of course the computer side of things. I am so backlogged that "Superwoman" is threatening to fly me over Diamonad Head and just drop me.

You know real estate? Know Property Managment? It's a project I have to do after my internet project ... and I don't even know how long it will take me to learn WebConnect. How do people collaborate long distance on projects?

You know, talking about this to some of you have really helped. I'm beginning to feel it's not VFP, not over work, but ... priorities. I'm giveing serious thoughts about something DOUBLE D (Dough) said about approaching my development process differently.

Thanks,

Mal

>Sheesh, it's time to back off the "Superman" act a bit! Sounds to me like it isn't VFP so much as sheer overwork. Are you using VFP to run the 'backoffice' information for your various firms? Having done both real estate and mortgage brokerage software (including, of course, the yearly form updates) you must be busier than the proverbial one-armed paper hanger.

>I know that life is always either too much or too little action < grin > but you may want to reschedule some of this expansion or else find some really good managers to take up some of the burden.

>>I think I'm self employed, can't even figure that out anymore ... LOL

>>I manage a real estate firm, a karaoke store, a jewelry store, and JEM Systems my little VFP shop (I program alone now) ... all of which, except the VFP shop, is about to expand to multi location stores. Two of my programming partners quit becuase they weren't willing to learn OOP, COM, ADO etc. and I had to constantly redo and or have them redo it properly (or as properly as my knowledge went) - I think I discouraged them.
>>
>>I don't think I have the expertise to work on more than 1 project at a time. Wish you hadn't brought WebConnect up ... <s> I purchased WebConnect at the Hawaii MegaEvent and have not even unzipped it. I do have a web project in line, however, I'm feeling I don't know enough to tackle WebConnect, yet, I know I'm going to have to do it soon.

>>Yes, perhaps something out side of programming is causing me stress ... I don't know.

>>Thank you,
