You quoted from Markus E about 80% planning and the rest coding... or something to that effect. Perhaps it might do you some good to apply that same principle to your situation.

Spend about 80% of the next few days evaluating how you got to the point of burnout and then do some planning on how to recover and then do some planning on how never to get to that point again. Your life is to important not to invest some time in serious and reflective thought.

It is so easy to try and cover up big problems with (what we find out later to be) temporary solutions. I am sure that Doug D's suggestion will help you but does it really address how you got to this point? If so, great! But you probably need to think about this question. Does this really solve the bigger problem?

Anyway, Keep your spirits high and your attitude positive and keep talking to anyone and everyone that you trust!

If it helps.... I have been where you are. I made some really bad choices that caused a lot of greif to a lot of people that love me deeply. I am on the other side of that now and I really do not what you to suffer the same mistakes I made.

If it helps # 2...... I'm currently "re" learning programming after a 7 year absence ( I was a pretty good Fox programmer from the early day.. up to version 2.5) and I understand your feeling of being overwhelmed with oop com+ ado and even re learning how to do things in Fox. There are moments when I am convinced that oop is of the evil one... well not really but my procederal upbringing kicks and screams at most oop code. :)
