Yeah, but can you really base a business on supporting an obsolete product? Usually once a system is modified to their liking, there aren't a lot of changes needed after that until they upgrade. If they can't upgrade, that cuts that out. Plus, they may decide to upgrade to a different product.

I'm sure there'll be systems needing support and minor tweaking out there for years to come, but not enough to support my job.
