Grids are a little quirky, it may not be your code, but it's worth checking - perhaps you have some code firing unbeknownst to you (hidden base class code can be a problem, for example, or whatever is in the method code may cause something unintended).

Yeah... been thru the debugger and couldn't figure out why in the world it would want to fire again.
