Thank a lot for your advise. However, my application just need to
access the internet for using the FTP to transfer some data files only.
So, I want to activate the dialup shortcut and then activate my program
to transfer the data files, can MS web browser control do it, please
advise. Thank you


>Use the MS Web Browser control (ActiveX). This will use the existing DUN settings. I just tested with Form.Init code ThisForm.OleControl1.Navigate("www.levelextreme.com") - it came up with an unspecified error but still worked. A little playing would have gotten rid of the error. You can then put a text box on the form if you need the users to select the URL.
