If I disconnect the network, my users cannot use my application software as a network software. The system can only run as a standalone. 2 or more users cannot share the same database files at the same time. It will then defeat the purpose of my network version application software.
Anyway, I've got a reply from Artisoft earlier and they mentioned to do the following :-
a. Verify that each user has a Foxuser.dbf file (of course they have!)
b. Verify that the CONFIG.FPW file has the statement EXCLUSIVE=OFF. (I've done this at the start of the application).
c. Verify that the CONFIG.FPW file on the server includes the RESOURCE=OFF statement, or that each user's FOXUSER.DBF/FPT files are marked as read-only. (I've not tried this, yet)
