I have been looking through the FFC (and in the FFC chapter of Markus Egger's OOP book) and I can't find the form manager. I vaguely recall seeing something like what you describe in Jim Booth's Effective Techniques book but I haven't yet found it there either. It would be nice to look at it, but what you specifically describe is not exactly what I'm trying to do.
