That happens time to time to all of us, having a hobby will help.

I personally cultivate Bonsai, I had almost 200 hundreds some time!.

I needed to leave them when we moved to the U.S. almost 2 years ago; now I have 2 and 2 more are in training and 5 more will make a good bonsai forest soon...
'Soon' meaning 3 or 4 years...

That is the main point, having diverse interests in different paced things.
