I'm going from memory here, but I believe a .wav file included in an EXE will not play in a VFP app. IIRC, VFP doesn't know how to natively play .wavs (unlike BMPs, JPEGs, and the like), and therefore will have trouble with it. OTOH, we can SET BELL TO a .wav file, so who knows? It's easy enough to test and find out for yourself.
