>Are you writing to the POrt or using the printer driver. I use star Printer And I have no problems in VFP. I Use the IO.OCX Control to write to LPT or COMM PoRt. I Open Cash Drawer,Receipt Cutting Slip Printing etc.. Try to avoid using the printer driver its pretty Useless(not practical).

We uses port. I haven't use IO.OCX control yet, but what the module done in C is that it detects the cash drawer if it is already closed or not. If not, the cashiering will not proceed to the next transaction unti it is closed.
