I can add one more advantage to SCX forms. I was involved in a multi-developer application where we used vcxs rather than scxs. We soon found that it was a bad idea to put multiple forms in a single VCX -- because checking out the vcx then locked development on multiple forms.

Find so we ended up putting each form in it's own vcx. Then, found that des were pretty much unqiue to the the form ,and ended up sticking our DE classes in the same VCX as the form. In short we had reinvented the SCX! We would have been much better off using SCXs in the first place.
